Residential- We design systems that guests in your home will be greatly impressed by. Many of our
customers refer to their friends about our favorite remote control. This color screen remote allows
any person to use any function of their home theater system with the touch of one button. Pressing
"Watch DVD" would turn on your receiver, DVD player, and TV. It then tells the receiver to select the
DVD input and set the sound setting to Dolby Digital. The TV is then commanded to go to HDMI2. Last,
the DVD player starts the movie. All in the matter of seconds. Remember doing this with a handful
of remote controls? Many people now need an instruction manual to know which things to press.
The smart remote solution makes the system ready to use by anyone. Even better, I utilize radio
instead of infrared so you don't even have to point it at your system! Close the cabinet doors,
the remote sends to the devices over the air. Some of my installations include lighting adjustment
or even temperature control, all on the same easy to use remote.
At one time, whole house audio typically included a stereo with a switch box that send out to
two or more rooms with speakers in the wall or ceiling. The next step up would then include
local volume controls in each room to adjust how loud the room was. This installation although
a bit cheaper, is somewhat primitive. Now most of our customers prefer features like control of
the source they are listening to, XM Radio control, different sources in different rooms, Ipod
connectivity with an in-wall docking station, touch pad or screen controls, and more. These
features require the use of an advanced system such as Russound or Elan. The system centers
out of a common place such as a utility room, closet, or home theater cabinet and then branches
out to the rooms utilizing keypads for control. Sources may include an XM/Sirius radio tuner, a CD
jukebox, AM/FM radio, IPod Docking Station, Family Room TV, and more. Any source may then
be selected in any room. The main unit has individual amplifiers for each room to adequately
power the system. Wire It Up can decide if your situation is better for a more reasonable
and simple Russound system and in some situations, the more advanced Elan is desirable. Elan
systems add the flexibility to control not only sound but also intercoms, temperature control, video,
security cameras, lighting, alarm systems, and more.
Wire It Up Electric is able to design any system for your needs and provide the equipment at
a great price. We also can install customer supplied systems whether it is just one TV or a large system.
Commercial- Similar to the residential setting, commercial facilities such as restaurants need
well designed zoning and high quality audio. Wire It Up can design a system that is well balanced
so certain tables do not wind up loud spots because of an overused speaker overhead. Volume
can be adjusted to keep the Bar, Dinning area, Patio, and Restrooms all at the perfect level. Flat
screen TVs are often installed and it is important to have a well designed plan of how the televisions
will be controlled, whether high-definition cabling is needed, and how many satellite or cable receivers
are needed to achieve an adequate amount of channel selection.
We also install professional sound systems designed for live music and productions. This includes
but not limited to: speaker and sub woofer arrays, microphone lines and monitor connections,
mixing consoles and the processors to accompany them, amplification and processing, and
stage communication. All sizes of systems are possible, anything from a small stage in a coffee
shop, house of worship, to an entire concert hall.
Production Lighting also is one of our important services which covers lighting for theaters, general
stage lighting, house of worship, DJ dance floor, art exhibits, and more. Some very neat things
can be designed using computer based lighting control, theatrical lighting consoles, LED color
changing lights, and motorized fixtures.
Live Production- Wire It Up provides sound systems for all kinds of events. You may
have ran into us before providing for: City of Leawood events, Botar Ball, Corporate
events, or providing sound for various music artists around Kansas City. Our system is
adequate for rooms as large as the ballrooms of major hotels and outdoor events. We can
provide for as little as the need for one microphone for a presentation or as large as the
amplification of a full size orchestra. We use high quality equipment from Crown
Amplification, Turbosound Speakers, JBL Sub woofers, Allen & Heath mixing console,
Lexicon effects, and Shure Microphones. Some needs can be catered to for as low as $85!
