Read what our customers have to say about Wire It Up Electric.
I can't speak highly enough of Spencer's work. First, his pricing is
amazing. I felt like I could go crazy with having outlets put in
various places that would be handy (what a treat!).
Basically, this is what he did at our house:
outlet work (adding and bringing things up to code)
installed kitchen light
electrical work in our basement (remodel) installed outlets throughout
and installed 12 can lights
went into my attic and brought all of the electrical that had been
done by "the man of the house" up to code (thank goodness there was
never a fire - it was BAD)
Thank you!

He was always able to make it to my house within a couple of days of
contacting him - I've had him over 3 times so far. my concern is that he
will be so busy due to great word of mouth referrals that we can not get him
when we need him.

Spencer has done
commercial work for
2 of my clients, and has also worked in my home.
He installed overhead lighting in a store basement with exposed ceiling
in
Brookside, all to code and within the exact perimeters I asked for, as
well as
diagnosing and replacing ballasts, and venting several jewelry
showcases, kind
of a gray area due to the age of the fixtures. He did a great job for a
fair
price. He did work for a gallery owner associated with the space, and I
know
the satisfaction with Spencer's work was high, as he has been asked
back there
several times, to perform very specific lighting requests to illuminate
art and
a workshop.
He recently worked for me in another client's 4000sf retail space that
was
previously occupied by an electronics store, and had multiple problem
issues
with the wiring. He gave me a quote to go through all of the wiring in
the
ceiling, fix the mess, and get all of the ceiling light fixtures up and
running. While in the ceiling, Spencer found several dangerous 'live
wires' which
he capped, and some pretty appalling non-code wiring issues which he
corrected
appropriately, to code. He spent 3X longer on the job than anticipated,
and did
not ask for additional payment - he got the job done. We found a
problem with a
light not working in a storage closet on a Friday, he said he could get
out the
next Wed. On Wed. he called me to ask what time he could drop by the
store. I
have never had a sub like him to work with before. His business
practices are
as mature and responsible as his work is.
In my home, I blew a breaker using a space heater, but the breaker did
not
register it - no amount of punching buttons was going to make the
breaker go
again. He found the problem after a thorough diagnosis and explanation
to me as
we went along. I live in an older, plaster-walled Prairie Village home.
Not only
did he fix the problem, he found potentially dangerous, 'crispy' wires
in my
box, unrelated, removed and replaced them.
