The Wire It Up Electric Difference
- Professional
and Polite- There is never a reason for an electrician to be rude to
their customer. It is important for
us to show up on time and return phone calls. Also to be courteous to the people in
the business or home.
- Workmanlike
Manner- Believe it or not, it is a code requirement, however often
neglected. Many electricians can
beat bids by neglecting this quality.
Electrical wiring needs to be neat, devices level, and boxes
securely mounted.
- Quality
Connections- A “Wire It Up” switch box or panel will have neatly made
connections that some people comment, “Looks as neat as art!” Some electricians
cut wires short, cram the wires in the box twisted all over, and poorly
connect the grounding wires. These
things lead to:
- Future
service calls when connections work themselves loose.
- Electricians
in the future having to charge extra to deal with shoddy work.
- A
loose grounding wire in a short condition can arc causing a fire or leave
the metal parts and appliances energized to shock a person.
- Wiring
that looks like what any person could do without even reading a basic
electrical wiring book.
- Who Does the
Work? - I do! A licensed Master Electrician with college education in
business and electrical technology, along with continuing education to
keep up with code advancements. On
larger jobs, my great assistants and journeymen also do great work, but I still
feel it is important for me to work the job with them. You will find that most companies do not
send masters on jobs but mainly apprentice. Do not pay high prices to someone who
sends out barely qualified people and do not even check on the job. A Master Electrician that takes pride in
quality work will know the best way to do the job, troubleshoot service
calls quickly, and is worth a lot more to you per hour than an apprentice.
- Licensed and
Insured- This trade is not for a handyman or a do-it-yourselfer that
hasn’t studied electrical wiring.
Your safety is too important to be compromised by a person that
only says, “The light comes on! I did it right!”
- Changeovers-
A favorite of many to make lots of money.
When building your home or a remodel has already been started, and
you decide an extra light, switch, circuit, internet connection, or a pair
of speakers would be nice. I am happy
to give you the same price that would have been used while bidding the
project.
- Above Code
Standards- Would you believe that electricians could put two bedrooms,
a garage, kitchen lights, and an outdoor outlet all on the same circuit
and still meet code? Well they can,
but not to our standards! When you
plug a computer in the bedroom, have can lights on in the kitchen, a refrigerator
running in the garage, and use the outdoor outlet; the breaker trips. We also do not place receptacles
(outlets) onto circuits heavily loaded with lights. What is the point of an outlet that
trips the breaker if you use a vacuum while the lights are on? I pay attention to these things so we wire
your house the way I would my own.
- Wide Range of Services- Not only is our electrical wiring top quality. People that need two or more of these
items at the same time, save a lot of money.
